God Blesses You

The LORD says, "From this day will I bless you" (Haggai 2:11)

Dear friends, maybe in the past years we might come across a dryness in our personal lives, no prosperity in the works of our hands, many of our prayers, desires and expectations were  unanswered, no favourable situations, our barns were empty, nor our trees yield any fruit. But today as we are entering into a new year, the LORD GOD promises us saying, "From this day will I bless you".

The Blessings

1. The LORD shall greatly bless thee
in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it (Deut 15:4)
2. Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him (Gen 26:12)
3. Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under (Gen 49:25)
4. The LORD your God shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and He will take sickness away from the midst of thee (Exo 23:25)
5. The LORD Jesus Christ blesses us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Eph 1:3).

What We Need To Do?

1. If you will listen to the voice of the LORD your God (Deut 28:2)
2. Pray ceaselessly as “I will not let you go unless you bless me” (Gen 32:26)
3. Start to sow things in the kingdom of God (Gen 26:12)
4. Behold! So shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD (Ps 128:4)
5. And you shall serve the LORD your God, and He shall bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you (Gen 23:25).

Let us leave away all our questions and fears and let us submit ourselves into the wonderful hands of the LORD God so that He will bless you in all our ways from this day onwards.

Wishing you a prosperous and bright new year. Have a blessed year ahead. God bless you.

December 2013 - The God Who Talks With Us

“Son of Man,” the LORD said, “get up on your feet. I want to talk to you.” (Eze 2:1)

This month our Lord God promises us that He is going to talk to us. The Bible says, "I will instruct you and teach you concerning the path you should walk; I will direct you with my eye" (Ps 32:8). Because, "The Lord knows the thoughts of men, that they are vain" (Ps 94:11). Further the Psamist says, "Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is nohelp. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish" (Ps 146:3,4).

Thus,

# Our God wants to instruct us
# Our God wants to teach our ways in which we need to walk
# Our God wants to direct us.

Whatever may be our situations, whatever may be our needs, and however difficult is the path we are travelling - maybe we are going through a life with no direction, no hope for future, the Lord our God says to us "Fear not!" For we do have a God who will lead us and guide us in the best path.

What do we need to do?

The Lord says, "Get up on your feet".

# Don't put your faith on any man
# Don't expect to stand upon any person
# Don't rely on another man's strength.

The Lord wants to get up and stand on our own feet (Eze 2:1). The Lord wants us go with the strength that we have. Then our Lord God as promised will talk to us, instruct us, teach us, and direct us. Let's walk with God under His guidance.

Have a blessed month!

A Month of Wonders

November 01, 2010
Greetings to you and wishing you a blessed November 2010. As we enter into this new month, the LORD our God has promised us:

"I will show them [you] wonders" (Micah 7:15)

In all our expectations, prayers, hopes, needs, etc., the LORD promises us that He is going to work wonders which will be marvelous to eyes. Amen!

To Whom

As we meditate on this promise, we have to know to whom will show wonders in their lives. The previous verse (v.14) tells three things: (1) who dwell solitarily...in the midst of Carmel; (2) whom the LORD shepherds with His staff;and (3) the flock of His heritage.

Dwell amidst Carmel
Carmel is a place where people of God had a personal encounter with God; prophets like Elijah and Elisha, they met God, they stayed in the presence of God, they interacted with God, they heard God's voice. It is place where God expects us to dwell alone with Him, spend our time with Him, to have a personal relationship with God the Father who loves us.

Shepherding with His Staff
Ezekial (21:10) says that it is the staff of My Son whom He sent down to earth from heaven above as a redemption to our sins. God expects that His children, the chosen people, His beloved, should always listen to their Master's voice. We should be His children not only in having a personal relationship with Him, but also in listening to His voice and walk as how He leads us and guides us. He expects us to obey the voice of Jesus in all our ways.

Flock of His Heritage
He reminds us that we are His chosen people; His created ones, created in His own image; the ones redeemed by the blood of Jesus from all our sins and iniquities. But at times we forget and go away from His flock. And so He wants us to be in His flock, not to go astray with our own will and desires.

Wonders

The first part of the verse says, "As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt..." (v. 15). He reminds us the way how He redeemed us from the bond of slavery. If we recollect the day when He delivered His people out of the bondage of Egypt, we understand that

  • Exodus 12:29 -- there was no calamity befell on the people of God, though there was a mighty struck of death upon their enemies
  • Exodus 12:36 -- the LORD has given favor for His people in the sight of their enemies, and they were granted with whatever they requested
  • Exodus 12:39 -- though His people came out of bondage with no provision in their hand, yet God sustained them in the wilderness, He was their Jehovah Jireh -- their Provider.

Dear beloved friends, as how the LORD reminds us, if we submit ourselves to be in His flock of His heritage, having a personal relationship with Him, listening and obeying to His voice, He promises us that He is going to do wonders in our lives, before our very eyes. He will be our Protector, Preserver and Provider in this new month. So let us be of good courage and cheer up this morning. Have a blessed November and May our good God who is faithful in His promises do great and mighty wonders in the lives of His people. God Bless You!
